Akron, OH, June 23, 2025 —Justin Chenault and Jeff Stenroos are joining the board of Tuesday Musical after being elected during the arts organization’s annual meeting on June 3 at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens.
Beginning July 1, Chenault will serve as an at-large member and Stenroos will serve as co-chair of Tuesday Musical’s Brahms Allegro Junior Music Club for K-12 students.
As the Executive Director of North Hill Community Development Corporation in Akron, Chenault spearheads the redevelopment of commercial properties into community anchors, supporting hundreds of entrepreneurs — particularly artists, food-based businesses, and immigrant-owned startups. His work has earned him numerous accolades, including the 2023 Next City Vanguard recognition and the 2024 Arts Alive Award for Collaborative Projects. He is a graduate of Leadership Akron Class 39.
Stenroos, a Bath resident, is the owner of Integrated Capital Planning, Inc., a personal financial advisory service. Previously he was a music teacher and high school choir director in the Streetsboro and Beachwood school districts, having earned a bachelor’s degree in music education with vocal keyboard emphasis from Kent State University. He is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Akron, where he recently completed 17 years singing in the choir and an 11-year stint on the Endowment Finance Committee.
Serving as board officers for Tuesday Musical are President Claire Purdy of Bath, Vice President/President Elect Jamie Wilding of Hudson, Treasurer Paul Mucha of Stow, Secretary Sally Childs of Akron, and Governance Committee Chair Bryan Meek of Cuyahoga Falls.
