We’re sharing musical moments to enjoy from the comfort and safety of home. Here’s our Curated Collection #2:
Forget about last week's snow as Steinway artist and Tuesday Musical friend Caroline Oltmanns performs Christian Sinding's Rustle of Spring.
From their living room, Michelle Lie and Ross Snyder of the Tesla Quartet perform and talk about some favorite violin duets by Joseph Haydn, Ignaz Pleyel, and Béla Bartók. Their performance is part of the Robinson Recitals initiative, a competition for social distancing video concerts designed for retirement and nursing homes and hosted by Boston-based Ariel Artists.
Dear Cats fans: Our Collection #1's not-so-flattering reference to that musical may have made some of you hiss. To help you purr again, the PBS News Hour describes domestic cats' very specific preferences when it comes to music. And, here’s a snippet of musical catnip for you and Tabby to enjoy together.
That’s it for now, but more to come. Keep purring, friends.
