Making international headlines by winning the $100,000 grand prize of the 2016 M-Prize International Chamber Music Competition — the largest prize for chamber music in the world — Calidore is one of today’s most in-demand young chamber ensembles. Adding to its growing prestige: This year Calidore won the 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant.

Israeli-born pianist Inon Barnatan, “one of the most-admired pianists of his generation (New York Times), is the New York Philharmonic’s first artist-in-association and will become music director of the La Jolla Music Society Summerfest starting in 2019.
