Brahms Allegro Club

Brahms Allegro Club Practice

Brahms Allegro Junior Music Club is sponsored by Tuesday Musical Association and is open to students interested in classical music in grades K-12. Monthly meetings are held in various locations with a variety of guest speakers from professional performers to musicians very familiar with computer-generated music. Members are encouraged to perform in this friendly environment, often in preparation for competitions. Brahms Allegro members come from a wide geographical area.

The Brahms Allegro events for 2009 and 2010 have been set! On September 11 we will view the documentary, “The Turandot Project” and on October 7 we will attend the Chanticleer residency concert together as a group. The November 6 program will be about the music therapy profession and the December 4 meeting will be on Music in the Olympics. On January 22, music educator Mary Beth Lyon will be our guest presenter and on March 14 we will have a performance opportunity before the March 27 OFMC Junior Festival. The recital and awards will be on April 24.
