Tuesday Musical is having a party and you're invited! Our 2007-2008 concert season ushers in Tuesday Musical's 120th anniversary - an auspicious milestone for this small but venerable arts organization.
As you browse through this site you will be delighted with the selection of artists—Yo-Yo Ma, Garrick Ohlsson and a few surprises. Whether you enjoy the harmonies that an all-male vocal ensemble like Chanticleer brings to the stage or the scintillating sounds of the Irish Chamber Orchestra, new discoveries await you at each Tuesday Musical concert. And it all happens at EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall on The University of Akron campus.
Tuesday Musical's vision does not end with the applause. Many of the artists appearing in concert will also connect with area students through master classes, lecture/demonstrations or open dialogues.
With its rich tradition of presenting a virtual who's who in the classical music world, this special 2007-2008 season is Tuesday Musical's way of thanking you - our community - for the support you have given us through the years.
